If you have a child between the ages of 9 & 14 who loves Legos and robots, the First Lego League competition is for them, and the for the first time the fun happens in Paducah on our campus on Saturday, December 14.
First Lego League is the chance for young people to learn science, technology, engineering and math while also learning valuable life skills. Students also learn the critical thinking skills they need to solve real-world problems....all with Legos and robots!!
It's time to build a team now! Deadline is fast approaching! Need teams of 6 to 10 kids per team. Fifty adult and 80 student volunteers also needed.
This year's theme is Nature's Fury! Students will learn to develop a solution for getting better prepared for a natural disaster such as a tornado or hurricane.
