The Clemens Fine Arts Center’s Backstage Pass series kicks off with the improvisational duo Like Water – World Fusion Music August 29.The world fusion duo assumes no musical boundaries. Danny Granstaff, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, and Dean Hughes, percussionist, play off each other, the environment, and people and activities around them. The musical journey of this group takes one from the Outback of Australia, to Morocco, from funk, jazz and tribal and into outer space.
Tickets are $5 at the door in the Clemens Fine Arts Center on the campus of West Kentucky Community and Technical College. The audience is seated on stage with the performers in an intimate, coffeehouse setting. Beverages and desserts will be available throughout the evening at a minimum cost.
