The first WKCTC Future Educators’ Club held a Read Across America event at Kentucky Oaks Mall on March 1, 2014. Their project was titled “Reading with Royalty" brought over 250 youngsters and their parents to read with Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, and Prince Charming. The Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2 encouraged the children to be active readers. Children also received treats from various local restaurants bookmarks for reading. Congratulations!!!
